The creation of life inside Earth 2 is regulated through a dynamic internal system rather than a fixed cost. Character synthesis is based on a Base Synthesisation Value (BSV), which adjusts according to the external market value of Essence. When Essence increases in value, less E-ther is required to create a character, while lower Essence values increase the E-ther cost. This creates a balancing mechanism within the ecosystem.
The exact BSV is not publicly disclosed and may be adjusted over time. Any direct change to the BSV itself would be officially communicated, while normal fluctuations in synthesis costs are intended to reflect real-time changes in the value of Essence.
The amount of E-ther required also depends on the Tier and Class of the land where a Mentar is located. Tier 2 land represents the standard synthesis cost, while certain higher-value land classes, including specific Tier 1 categories, may reduce the required amount of E-ther.
Currently, all E-ther used during synthesis is converted into Essence and permanently removed from circulation through a 100% burn process. This mechanism is designed to introduce a deflationary element into the system, though the burn rate may be adjusted in the future.
