Earth2 is a virtual replica of our real-world planet, divided into 10×10 meter tiles that users can buy, trade, and develop. It aims to become a futuristic metaverse where digital land ownership, gaming, and real-world economic concepts intersect.
Earth2’s long-term goal is to create a massive, persistent online world—a kind of mirror Earth—where players can:
Own digital land
Build structures and experiences
Extract resources and generate income
Interact with others in a shared virtual environment
The project is still under development and is being released in phases, each introducing new features and mechanics.
Tiles: The smallest unit of land in Earth2. Each tile represents a real-world location and has its own market value.
Land Classes: Tiles are divided into five classes based on when they were purchased and their rarity. Class 1 is the most valuable.
Resources: Certain tiles contain digital resources (like Essence or Ether) that can be collected and used or traded.
Player Economy: Users can trade land and items with others via an internal marketplace.
Future Gameplay: Earth2 plans to include player-versus-player (PvP) and building systems in future updates (known as E2V1).
Earth2 is a highly ambitious project still in development. Many features are not yet fully released, and information can change frequently.
This wiki aims to document the platform as it evolves and help users understand both the potential and the risks.
