What Are Tiles, Tiers and Classes in Earth 2?
In Earth 2, the world is divided into 10x10 meter square units called tiles. These tiles are the foundation of virtual land ownership, gameplay, and resource generation. Each tile belongs to a Land Tier, which determines its capabilities and strategic potential within the EcoSim and the broader metaverse.
There are three Land Tiers:
Tier 1 (T1) – The most powerful tier, offering full access to all game mechanics and resource production features.
Tier 2 (T2) – A more affordable option with slightly limited capabilities compared to T1.
Tier 3 (T3) – The entry-level tier, which requires upgrades to unlock full EcoSim participation.
Tier 1 tiles are further divided into five Classes (1–5) based on their purchase order:
Class 1 tiles were purchased earliest and come with higher resource and Essence production benefits.
Class 5 tiles were the latest to be sold in that country and offer fewer perks compared to earlier classes.
(While all Tier 1 tiles retain full functionality, earlier Classes may offer long-term strategic advantages in gameplay and economics.)
